Cuningham is an award-winning architecture firm with 6 offices nationally seeking an Architect or architectural Job Captain level professional (licensed/non-licensed) in our Phoenix or Denver offices. This role will be responsible for drawings, specifications, and approval of materials and construction. Plans and develops projects of medium to large scope not only internally with the design team but also externally with the coordination of the consultants. Leads and supervises portions of design, technical, and production aspects of the project team through to successful production of deliverables. Applies sound and diverse knowledge of architectural principles and practices. Acts independently regarding architectural methods and complexities.
The successful candidate will ideally have 8 years of architectural experience, with a minimum of 2 to 3 multifamily residential type projects. Experience in wood construction buildings preferred, as well as experience in construction administration. They will be highly motivated and thrive in a collaborative environment.
