Summary:
Responsible for using computerized inventory software to record, track, and maintain all inventory related data. Prepares labels and packaging materials to ensure smooth and efficient transition from one packaging line to the next. The successful candidate will be familiar with inventory control systems and will have exceptional math and computer skills. We are looking for a polished professional who takes his or her work seriously and values meticulous accuracy in every endeavor. This position will work closely with the Processing and Packaging Supervisors to ensure timely execution of the packaging schedule and evaluate product batch records. In addition, this position will be responsible for creating transport manifests and purchase orders in Biotrack.
Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.
- Uses software to convert, combine, and/or transfer inventory between finished product, ground material, by product, and waste as needed
- Prepares packaging materials and creates labels for discrete packaging lots
- Maintains inventory control system with updated accurate product details and creates new products as needed
- Enters data accurately and efficiently
- Ensures that all finished product is organize, accounted for and properly stored, also checks bulk orders for accuracy and quality prior to shipment
- Maintain efficient space utilization cleanliness and organization in product vault
- Locates and removes expired or defective product retentions and returns, Packs up defective material for incineration
- Creates Transport manifests and purchase orders for store deliveries
- Runs reports, maintain strict records of product batches, and investigates any discrepancies in inventory
- Maintain and evaluate product batch records and compares them to physical inventory on a daily/weekly basis
- Adjusts inventory reports to account for new deliveries

Education and/or Experience
Associated degree preferred, High School Diploma or G.E.D minimum. 2 years of applicable experience in filling, manufacturing and packaging pharmaceutical or food products a plus.
Level 2 background check required. Must be 21or over.
Language Skills
Ability to read and understand technical procedures, standard operating procedures and work instructions. Ability to accurately record information, metrics and data in a standardized format. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from coworkers, management and regulatory agencies.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to day to day tasks including metric collection, product counts and recording information on batch records.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge working with inventory software and be proficient in Microsoft office.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where standardization exists. Ability to interpret and execute a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
