What are the responsibilities and job description for the Onsite EAP Counselor position at CuraLinc Healthcare?
CuraLinc Healthcare is seeking a licensed counselor or social worker to provide onsite EAP services in the Washington DC area. This is a part-time/contract position for 4 hours per week. While the primary role of the Onsite EAP Clinician is to provide short-term solution-focused coaching and consultation to employees, the Onsite EAP Clinician may also participate in additional company-related activities, as requested.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provides Short-Term, Solution-Focused Coaching and Consultation to Employees (In Person and Video/Telephonic)
- Leads Topical and Support Groups for Employees
- Conducts Employee and Supervisor EAP Training and Orientation Sessions
- Provides Management Consultations
- Provides On-Site Critical Incident Response
- Participates in Health Fairs, Open Enrollment and Health Promotion Activities
- Promotes the Program and Ensures Program Satisfaction
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Masters Degree in a Mental Health Discipline (i.e. Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy)
- Expertise in the assessment of alcohol and substance abuse issues and referral to clinically appropriate treatment
- Training in Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) or similar evidence-based approach
- Post-Graduate Clinical Experience
- Current Independent State License to Practice
- Current Malpractice Insurance
- Fundamental Understanding of MS Office
- Experience in Work-Related Issues
- EAP Experience Preferred
