Essential Functions:
- Provide analytical support to service lines across the organization by providing consistent and meaningful financial information, reporting and analysis.
- Perform bank and various GL account reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly accounting reports.
- Prepares all internal and external financial reports, including special reports as requested. Assist with preparation of the financial reports for monthly business review.
- Participate in monthly business reviews.
- Assists the VP of Finance with the annual operating and capital budgets and forecasts.
- Supports the annual operating and capital budget process.
- Assists with the proper filing of all federal and state tax returns and reports.
- Provides information for the productivity, efficiency and position control reports.
- Coordinates the annual financial audit, including the A-133 report.
- Administers, interprets and ensures compliance of organizational policies and procedures within assigned area(s).
Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business management. CPA preferred.
- A minimum of five years working as an Accountant is preferred.
- Knowledge of health care accounting practices a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of Financial Management software and systems.
