What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist position at Cure Medical Care?
Cure Medical is a Primary Care Practice located in Arcadia. We are seeking a self-motivated, responsible, and energetic Medical Assistant to assist the physician with patient care. Must be a certified phlebotomist.
Responsibilities:
- Intake patients and document basic medical history
- Register and check patients in and out
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Answer phone calls
- Plan and coordinate health services
- Measure and record vital signs
- Obtain blood sample and administer injections
Qualifications and Candidate Characteristics:
- Strong sense of self-motivation and self-discipline
- Self starter with strong interpersonal skills
- Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Basic computer knowledge required
- Prior medical office experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
