International Staff Accountant

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of International payroll.
  • Prepare Intercompany reconciliations (A/P, A/R, loans, etc.) between the Corporate and subsidiary offices and charge backs.
  • Assist in monthly cash payments to Corporate from subsidiary offices
  • Calculate and post monthly fixed asset depreciation
  • Reconcile sub-ledger (A/P, A/R, Inventory, Cash, and Fixed Assets) to the general ledger
  • Posting recurring monthly journal entries
  • Provide support in the monthly close process (A/P, A/R, Cash, etc.)
  • Reconciling and reviewing monthly general ledger accounts
  • Review monthly financial statements and provide comments for various
  • Provide monthly support in reconciliation between locate books and Corporate ERP system
  • Provide audit support
  • Assist in VAT Reporting, EC List and Intrastat
  • Assist in subsidiary tax and review
  • Provide backup support to international staff as needed
  • Provide backup support to Concur
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested by the manager

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • International background preferred
  • Ability to work with international counterparts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to handle difficult situations in a professional and efficient manner
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Prefer experience with Microsoft NAV or ERP system
  • Flexible work schedule is required to accommodate worldwide locations

Physical Requirements:
