Description
The Lower School at Currey Ingram Academy is currently accepting applications for a Primary (K-1) classroom teaching position for the current school year with a projected start date in December 2020 or January 2021. Teaching responsibilities will include both small- and large-group teaching in the areas of language arts (reading, spelling and written language), math, social studies, science, and handwriting. In addition, social-emotional instruction and coaching and executive function support is expected to be embedded throughout the day.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication in both oral and written expression is required.
- Experience with technology is required.
- Minimum of a degree in special education, elementary education or a related field
- Preference will be given to those with at least five years of experience and/or experience in teaching students with learning differences.
