Job Description/Summary
The Assistant Project Manager provides direct support to the Project Manager; assists the project team in monitoring and control of project cost, submittals and contract compliance, works with the team to create, submit and manage subcontracts, purchase orders and change orders; Review and enter project related invoices; Create and manage timely receipt of lien waivers; Tracks quantities related to daily production; Assist with various other activities related to administration and the management of contracts.
Miss utility, LCAMS, order materials, gather/record quantities, MOT plans, coordinate with crews
Job Requirements/Qualifications
This position requires at least two years of experience in contract management; Accounting administration experience preferred.
Ability to multi task and manage conflicting priorities; possess a positive attitude and be a team player; Coordinate multiple projects by multi-tasking and using effective prioritization skills; Strong attention to detail; Ability to work with varying seniority levels to include staff, Project managers and external suppliers/ subcontractors; Strong organizational and management skills; proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
