Our Norwich location is currently looking to immediately fill a Customer Service/Sales position. Curtis Lumber continues to grow with over 600 employees and 23 locations, in both New York and Vermont.
Summary
To engage in face to face, phone and electronic sales by utilizing exceptional customer service and sales skills in order to meet or exceed sales and margin goals.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Customer Service
- Acknowledge, greet and assist customers in a timely and professional manner
- Handle telephone and electronic inquiries efficiently and effectively
- Identify the needs and provide the appropriate level of assistance to the customer
- Effectively research and resolve customer complaints and conflicts
Sales Expectations
- Understand the marketplace
- Know product features
- Work to meet prospect customers’ needs
- Effective suggestive and upgrade selling and add on sales
- Effective closing technique
- Quote follow up - quote to order conversion
