Exterior Detailer

Curtis Trailers, a leading RV dealership serving the Portland metro area since 1948, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Exterior Detailer to join our team. This full-time role involves maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our RVs, contributing to the overall customer experience. We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality, value, and trust, and we're looking for someone who shares these values. This position is outdoors and requires working in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly wash the exterior of trailers, including the underside and roofs.
  • Perform building and lot maintenance tasks, such as trash pick-up.
  • Operate and maintain gas/electric powered utility equipment, including leaf blowers and generators.
  • Complete special tasks for deliveries or stock units as requested by management, such as swapping out furniture.
  • Perform quick washes on stock units to maintain their appearance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in auto/RV detailing is preferred.
  • Ability to climb stairs, step ladders, and reach overhead.
  • Ability to frequently lift 25 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces.
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the work day.
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven.
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • Availability to work on Saturdays.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test, including for marijuana.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $16.25 per hour.
