The CMMS Specialist manages account systems and assists with day-to-day requests for reporting and system configuration to ensure operational excellence amongst service lines.

May be responsible for one or more of the following:

  • Supports in maintaining tactical operation and quality control of the C&W CMMS system (FAMIS360)
  • Responsible for granting permissions to users, applying the correct security profile based upon role.
  • Performs regular User Access Reviews to ensure accuracy of user list and applied security profiles.
  • Establishes and maintains processes and procedures to support the consistent administration of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the system, including setting up users, properties, assets and performing basic system configurations.
  • Reviews current processes and configurations to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Responsible for conducting training on programs, technologies, and communication plans to improve user adoption and effectiveness of new and existing features
  • Compiles and analyzes information necessary to ensure all documentation and reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Partners with Facilities to provide ongoing quality reviews of equipment and preventative maintenance records to ensure data is accurate and schedules are properly maintained
  • Provides the data / reports from the system to support the Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual reporting.
  • Provides administrative support for programs and processes on the account.
  • Supports with presentations, communications, and other coordination activities.

Minimum Requirement

  • 1-5 years of experience recommended
  • High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience with CMMS/Work Order Management software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suites (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook) and SharePoint required
  • Tech-savvy and ability to quickly learn new tools and seek out innovative technology solutions
  • Experience in information design and/or dashboard design and development
  • Ability to analyze and manipulate data for ad-hoc reporting
  • Solid customer service acumen and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to explain technical concepts and procedures to non-technical users
  • Knowledge of Facility systems (HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical) a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Involves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours a day
  • Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and type
  • Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
  • Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented orally and in writing
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing and orally so others will understand
  • Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, graphics, and computer displays

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00
