What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dock QC position at CUSTOM APPLE PACKERS?
Dock QC
Seeking: An individual to approve or reject apple shipments at Custom Apple's Quincy warehouse by reviewing and evaluating fruit quality, wrap/containers, labeling, corner boarding, customer specs, and other applicable criteria.
Qualifications:
-General knowledge of fruit - appropriate grades, colors, sizes, defects, et.
-Knowledgeable in use of phone and email to communicate with sales and production staff
-English language skills strongly preferred
-Able to lift 40 pound boxes of packed fruit overhead, and carry short distances
-Able to become certified to safely operate a forklift
