Custom Computer Specialists is looking for a Cybersecurity Practice Lead to join our organization to build our Cyber Security division. This person should be business oriented with strong leadership skills and also have a strong understanding of Cyber Security. 

The Cybersecurity Practice Lead will work with K-12 and Public Sector clients to help build more secure Information Technology environments and protect against cyber-attacks.

This person will develop go-to-market offerings and establish an enterprise-wide strategy for security services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in entrepreneurial roles in Professional Services organizations and have a record of success managing growing P&L’s. This team member will develop templates to provide a comprehensive and methodical approach toward implementing Security Best Practices and managing Risk and Vulnerabilities in diverse IT environments.

This leader will build demand for new services, build a team to deliver these services, travel to client sites, meet with client leadership and IT teams, deliver presentations, facilitate workgroups and fact-finding sessions and stay abreast of emerging threats, technologies and legislation.

Duties: 
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve financial targets within the Cyber Security Division.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies in the cybersecurity domain.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for the Cyber Security Division to achieve short-term and long-term goals.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the division's service offerings and customer base.
  • Set clear performance objectives and provide regular feedback to foster individual and team growth.
  • Manage Security elements on/off site at our clients.
  • Build Security policies to reflect NIST Framework and Best Practices.
  • Develop a talented and diverse team of cybersecurity professionals.
  • Conduct Vulnerability Assessments to various standards (PCI, HIPAA, NIST, 2D, etc.).
  • Work with Firewall Reviews & Configuration recommendations.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Prior experience in leading and building successful teams.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to identify and capitalize on market trends and opportunities.
  • Experience implementing Security tools & frameworks in a variety of environments.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in computer science or related field.
  • CISSP, HCISPP, CISA, CISM, CISO or equivalent certification.
