Production coordinator

Location : Lithonia, GA

Summary : Position purpose is to ensure production records are kept organized, reviewed for completeness, reported in ERP (D365), and stored in a timely manner.

The position will maintain productivity standards for the production team and assist with monthly training for the plant.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

• Responsible for daily Production record entry into D365.
• Complete bulk ingredient and packaging material transactions in D365 when and as needed.
• Works with the key stakeholders in reconciliation and maintenance of bulk ingredient quantity physical versus D365.
• Scanning and storing production records in a centralized location for quick access at any time.
• Organizing production records and maintaining the ability to produce production records in a timely manner at the request of key stakeholders (i.

e. QS, Production, and / or Auditors).

• Communicate and resolve production record issues with plant team leaders and team captains to ensure accurate data is maintained.
• Resolve production order variances with Finance team prior to month end closings.
• Responsible for maintaining and providing daily productivity reports to Plant Management.
• Work with PI Team in maintaining productivity goal alignment across the systems by maintaining RE (reasonable expectations) in D365 to provide Operator expectations in production that is same as RedZone.
• Maintain finished product routes and times to accurately reflect manufacturing cost.
• Assist in monthly training for the plant on assigned topics.
• Create reports and additional tasks, as directed including but not limited to training, work instruction development and / or updates, creating / maintaining One Point Lesson and / or Standard Work.

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma and 7 years of industry experience that includes use of computers, specifically MS Word and MS Excel as part of day-to-day job function.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Suites including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Must be able to create spreadsheets, word documents and presentations for plant management team, USLT, NALT, and Global teams.
• Analytical skills and the ability to apply those skills to assist with reducing cost variance.
• Must be detail orientated and able to manage multiple tasks, reports, and projects.
• Ability to act as a back-up for Label Coordinator, as needed.
• Knowledge of all systems associated with manufacturing.
• Position requires outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
