Job Description:
Custom Hoists, Inc. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Stockroom Attendant to join our dynamic team. As a Stockroom Attendant, you will be responsible for the efficient storage, transportation and preparation of various parts and products offered in our product line.
The ideal candidate must be highly team-oriented, collaborating effectively with colleagues and external vendors to ensure seamless storage and distribution processes. Attention to detail is paramount, as you will conduct routine checks, troubleshoot issues, and maintain accurate records of product inventory and workflow.

This position performs a combination of distribution and organizational tasks under the guidance of a supervisor, foreman and/or senior employee.
What You’ll Do:
Job Responsibilities:
· Comply and follow all safety rules and protocols
· Perform quality checks and be on alert for preventative quality measures
· Keep workspace clean and free of debris and unnecessary items on a daily basis; Leave workspace clean and organized at end of shift
· Maintain flexibility in job assignment; Ability to flex work assignment as workflow ebbs and flows
· Operate forklift, crane hoists, carts, and walk-behind lifts to transport WIP and related parts
· Operate machinery, such as forklifts, as instructed, following all standard procedures and safety protocols
· Handle fluids as instructed on labels and MSDS sheets
· Correctly interpret job and part shipping and receiving instructions as outlined, and other critical features
· Communicate effectively with Purchasing Agents, Maintenance Technicians, and team members regarding job clarification, inventory management, and machine performance issues
Job Tasks:
· Gather product from inventory and/or storage and stack on pallet, following standard stacking procedures, utilizing forklift, crane hoists, carts, and walk-behind lifts
· Mark product with correct and accurate shipping labels
· Receive materials, parts, and freight and compare against purchase orders
· Ensure organized storage of components and parts utilizing outlined identifying information
· Collaborate with teammates regarding issuance of parts, supplies, and materials
· Manage stock records of parts, products, supplies, components, and materials
· Prepare inventory counts, stock records, storage changes, etc. as scheduled or as need arises
· All other duties as directed by supervisor, foremen, and management
· Scope of duties may be adjusted as necessitated by business demands
What You Will Bring:
· Ability to drive (or learn to drive) a forklift
· Ability to stand on concrete for extended periods of time
· Ability to push, pull, bend, reach, lift and move up to 50lbs.
· Ability to read (or learn to read) a tape measure and other measurement tooling
· Ability to interpret (or learn to interpret) part drawing dimensions and quality specifications
· Must pass background check and have a clean drug screen
· Highschool diploma or GED
