CNC Grinder Set up/Operator
Job Posting for CNC Grinder Set up/Operator at Custom Tool & Grinding
Responsiblities:
- Work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
- Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment
- Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops
- Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials
- Regular housekeeping and sanitation to ensure a tidy and professional work environment
Experience Needed:
- CNC experience - Grinding experience is major plus
- Design cutting tools and program CNC tool grinders
- Setup the Machine to grind the tools
- Run small batch production or oversee human or robotic production
- Maintain grinding wheels for production
- Ability to read a blueprint and utilize inspection equipment

- CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC)
- CNC Lathe (2-4 axis)

Salary info:
$17 - $30 / hr
