- Dealer Visits Planning: Strategically plan dealer visits to maximise contact and efficiency.
- Dealer Engagement: Actively visit 8-10 dealerships daily to establish and maintain relationships.
- Relationship Building: Establish contacts, including dealer principals, to promote client company recognition.
- Training and Education: Educate dealer staff on client company programs and their benefits, focusing on increasing profitability per deal.
- Funding Process: Train dealers on loan funding processes and required documentation for timely processing.
- Marketing Support: Assist in creating and communicating marketing programs to dealer staff.
- Liaison Role: Serve as a bridge between dealer staff and client company team, facilitating funding and resolving credit issues.
- Competitive Analysis: Identify competitive advantages and threats, providing insights to management for strategic decisions.
- Market Expansion: Increase market share by growing business with existing dealers and acquiring new dealer relationships.
- Reporting: Maintain a CRM system (Landslide) with daily activity updates and provide regular reports to management.
- Competitor Awareness: Stay informed about competitor programs and strategies to effectively position client company offerings.
- Trade Shows: Attend relevant trade shows as required.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Three to Five years of prior indirect sales experience.
- Strong outside sales skills with a focus on relationship building.
- Ability to drive as a significant component of the job.
- Comprehensive knowledge of automotive business operations.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively across dealership hierarchies.
