Electromechanical Technician

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Electricians with a Journeyman’s card or at least 7 years of direct electrician experience. Candidates must have experience working in a manufacturing environment on manufacturing equipment, not facilities maintenance. A qualified journeyman electrician with construction or facilities experience is not a fit for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical work on machines in a manufacturing environment across any industry (automotive preferred).
• Handle industrial maintenance, electrical maintenance, and work with high voltage (medium voltage), 480V, 120V, and down to 24-volt DC circuitry.
• Work with PLCs, preferably Allen Bradley, and navigate the parameters of Program Frequency Drives.
• Utilize experience with CNC machining facilities, including familiarity with Fanuc and Siemens controllers on CNC machines.
• Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, CNCs, Frequency Drives, motors, and associated circuitry.
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills for various circuits, including 24v DC, 120v, 277v, and 480v.
• Troubleshoot proximity switches, light screens and safety circuits, cables, ethernet and communication issues, motors, drives, relays, and more.
  
  

Qualifications

• Journeyman’s card or a minimum of 7 years of direct electrician experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment working on manufacturing equipment (not facilities maintenance).
• Proficient in industrial and electrical maintenance, including high voltage systems.
• Familiarity with PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred) and Program Frequency Drives.
• Experience with CNC machines, particularly with Fanuc and Siemens controllers.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities with various electrical circuits and components.
