Job Description
The Medicare Retention Center of Excellence is seeking a Lead Business Consultant. The Lead Business Consultant, Medicare Retention, will be responsible for directing, optimizing the investment, analytics and performance management of Medicare MA member retention efforts. Key responsibilities include driving the development, implementation and management of Aetna Medicare’s retention strategy in order to maintain and improve member experience. This role will efficiently deploy capital to maximize member experience and financial results. The Lead Business Consultant will collaborate with the analytics team to develop retention strategy and operations. This position reports to the Executive Director, Medicare Retention & QIA.
Required Qualifications
• Knowledge of industry driving factors for healthcare, Medicare Advantage desired
• Medicare Advantage product knowledge; experience with the CMS bid process
• Selling of Medicare Advantage plans
• Experience with managing broker relationships
• Medicare Advantage broker experience
• Demonstrated success leading retention programs
• Proven results with member experience
• Comfortable working with data analytics to support capital deployment and bolster member experience
• Demonstrated relationship management skills at the senior level
• Capacity to quickly build and maintain credible relationships at varying levels of the organization simultaneously
• Demonstrated superior business process, project management and organizational redesign experience
• Demonstrated experience successfully implementing change in complex organizations
• Experience with enterprise-wide and/or cross-functional large-scale initiatives with high degree of complexity
• 10+ years’ experience with several of the following methodologies: management consulting, project consulting, business process consulting, financial strategic analysis, mergers and acquisitions, strategic business planning, and/or risk management consulting
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree preferred, but not required
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
