Job Description
As a Digital Product Manager, you will be an entrepreneurial and innovative product leader with a user-centric mindset and proven experience in driving the product development process You will collaborate with internal project stakeholders across sales, marketing, credit, legal, finance, compliance, operations and executive management to translate business needs into an effective product strategy. The Digital Product Manager is essential to ensuring CVS Health maintains its leading position in a highly competitive market. The Digital Product Manager position is responsible for assessing emerging trends, technologies, electronic platforms and potential partnerships that allow us to deliver innovative experiences that improve the customer experience. The position operates in a highly collaborative environment that follows the Extreme Programming (XP) methodology.

You’ll own the product vision, strategy and outcome-oriented roadmap, prioritize product features and capabilities, and maintain a healthy product backlog (i.e. writing and accepting user stories). You’ll spend each day collaborating with stakeholders, users, and a deeply dedicated team as you create amazing products.

As a part of the Enterprise Product Acceleration team, you will be leading innovative and bold initiatives aimed at transforming health care using the latest technologies and methodologies.

The Digital Product Manager must have exceptional problem-solving skills, be an effective communicator that uses his/her abilities to successfully collaborate with others, able to lead and influence product conversations, build consensus among a wide range of business partners, and instill commitment from direct reports to deliver high performance results towards the development and execution of enhanced product offerings.

This role requires a high level of collaboration, a willingness to question the status quo and passion for IT innovation. Candidates must be able to work in a hybrid model that will depend on product specific requirements: new efforts may be in person for a few weeks – through MVP (minimum viable product). It is a hands-on product management position that works across the entire product lifecycle from product-market fit, experience design, implementation, delivery and post launch support.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for product strategy, vision and the product backlog
• Use customer feedback, detailed market analysis, and data gathering to make decisions about product strategy
• Define and manage metrics to measure the success of your efforts and to inform the overall product strategy
• Know your customer; invest significant time speaking with your current and potential customers to understand their needs & habits
• Engage in build-test-learn activities to quickly validate assumptions and product direction
• Decompose complex problems into smaller manageable tasks by creating and prioritizing a backlog for your XP team
• Manage the product backlog, create an effective vision and provide timely stakeholder feedback on development iterations
• Ensure the successful execution of development standards to ensure tight feedback loops and clear product definition
• Coach and mentor members of the team as well as members of the cross-functional development organization on how to collaborate and conduct idea generation, consumer research, test design and execution, measurement, product implementation, customer interactions and roll out

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 70,000
Maximum: 140,000

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
• 3 years of total Information Technology experience including leadership and development management experience in core development and delivery areas
• 3 years deep knowledge of information technology principles, Agile development methodologies and knowledge of Cloud platforms / applications/ software products or design tools.
• 3 years of experience in handling customer expectations and relationship building
• 3 years of exposure to Agile methodologies at an enterprise level
• 3 years entrepreneurial, with a strong inclination towards action, preferably with experience shipping software
• 3 years of experience operating in an environment driven by KPIs where you had the accountability to determine the best course of action to meet your goals
• 3 years proven ability to communicate complex and innovative concepts to a new product development team with proven experience in data-driven decision making
• 3 years proven ability to analyze and interpret moderate to complex concepts
• 3 years understanding of and experience working in a development environment
• 3 years demonstrated ability to communicate across multiple levels of leadership

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience as a Product Manager in an Extreme Programming (XP) environment

• Experience with UX design advocacy within large business and technology organizations
• Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) and Healthcare industry experience a plus
• Determination to enhance quality and save cost as part of continuous process improvement
• Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skill
• Experience with leading others in Design Thinking and Human-Centered Design practices
• Undergraduate degree in engineering, finance, computer science, marketing, or related business degree

Education
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, High School and equivalent experience in lieu of degree considered
