Job Description

As a Software Engineer for this Analytics and Behavioral Change team, you will be working on billions of records of healthcare data and supporting the Data Engineering Strategy working in partnership with a team of Data Scientists and Sales Leads.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Collaborate with the team to understand the project requirements, scope, and timeline.
• Take ownership of front-end development projects using React and related technologies.
• Utilize your experience in full-stack development to contribute to the overall architecture and development of web applications. Collaborate with back-end engineers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic and database systems.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in frontend development and contribute ideas to improve the application.
• Help troubleshoot and debug issues reported by customers or other team members.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality and consistency with established standards.
• Use version control and other software development best practices to maintain a high-quality codebase.
• Collaborate with the team to identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions to improve the development process.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 115,000
Maximum: 230,000
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in software engineering or full stack developer.
• Strong Knowledge of React, User Interface Design, AWS, API, PaaS, SaaS, Lead Software Engineer, microservices, Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience building web applications with React, including knowledge of React hooks and functional components.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively on a team, including effective communication skills and willingness to give and receive feedback.
• Passion for software development and a desire to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience building platforms and APIs supporting user journey orchestration and personalized recommendations.
• Experience with Infra automation, Site Reliability Engineering, and building CI/CD pipelines with DevOps/GitOps processes.
• Experience building batch data pipelines leveraging Azure Data Lake, Apache Spark, MLOps, and Airflow.
Education
• Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, or related field or equivalent experience
• Preferred: Master’s Degree with coursework focused on advanced algorithms, mathematics in computing, data structures, etc.
