Role and Responsibilities :
- Supervision of work force composed primarily of disabled persons.
- Plan daily work schedules.
- Develop standards for employees to follow.
- Must ensure that all daily tasks are completed as scheduled, and according to specified quality standards and within budget limits.
- Monitors the use of supplies and equipment, request additional supplies as needed.
- Trains program participants / employees in orientation to the building, proper work techniques, and schedules, usage and conservation of supplies, operation of equipment, and safety practices.
- Orientation of all program participants / employees on rules and regulation of the facility, and company.
- Thorough knowledge of contract statement of work and adherence to performance standards.
- Responsible for maintenance of employee attendance records, and computation of timecards as needed.
- Participates in daily communication with Galley personnel to ascertain problems / concerns, reach decisions regarding appropriate solutions, maintains a high level of satisfaction in terms of quality service and effective communication at the facility.
- Completion of all necessary paperwork, whether required by the galley or company, to include but not limited to quality control reports, task completing reports, employee warning, and performance evaluation, and performance evaluation, supply inventory, time studies / performance measurements, etc.
- Maintenance of passing scores on all evaluations and inspections conducted by Facility and company personnel.
- Perform other tasks as deemed feasible by Regional Manager.
- Adhere to company policies at all times.
- Review contract and become familiar with terms and conditions.
- Monitor submittals and track deliveries of material.
- Collect and submit daily reports and project documentation.
- Maintain client relationship.
- Performs any other tasks as assigned.
Performance will be measured by the following standards :
- Ability to manage the assigned contract in smooth, efficient manner by keeping cost under control, handling personnel effectively, and maintaining good relationships with Galley personnel.
- Completion of paperwork assignments accurately and promptly.
- Consistently performing to the standards of the statement of work without deductions for deficiencies.
- Ability to train and instruct workers assigned to Galley dinning facility, to analyze and suggest more effective and efficient procedures and methods of operation.
- Serve as a role model to employees and clients.
- Ability to implement procedures to minimize employee accidents, waste of supplies, and damage to equipment.
- Ability to exercise good judgment, work under pressure, demonstrate flexibility and work independently.
- Ability to effectively plan and organize in order to meet budget restraints.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on all equipment used.
- Adherence to company’s policies and procedures.
Essential Duties
- Ability to act as a leader.
- Ensure that all tasks are being completed up to par.
- Ability to deal with operational needs and any changes that may arise.
Education and Experience Requirements :
- Minimum of Two years of hospitality or food service experience.
- Minimum of One year in a supervisory position (Required).
- Must be able to work directly with persons with disabling conditions.
Physical Demands :

- Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, gran and lift up to fifty (25) lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk the entire shift.
