Role and Responsibilities
- Direct those in the kitchen to produce all food in a safe and clean manner.
- Clean, cut and cook meat, fish and poultry.
- Cook and package batches of food to be outsourced for meals on wheels and senior centers.
- Supervises all kitchen staff to ensure that food is being prepared properly.
- Cleans and maintains all kitchen equipment properly.
- Requisitions all needed supplies according to proper procedure.
- Observes all health and safety policies, rules and regulations.
- Prepares food in accordance with menu.
- Preforms all other duties assigned by manager.
Essential Job Functions
- Must work to ensure that all policies and processes are being followed
- Must be able to fill out all proper paperwork.
- Must be able to follow all directions
- Must be able to work as a team to mass produce food
