What would my Responsibilities be as a Utility Worker?
- Dishwashing: Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or hand-washing methods.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Keep the kitchen and food preparation areas clean and well-organized, including countertops, sinks, stovetops, and equipment.
- Trash Removal: Regularly empty trash cans and ensure the proper disposal of waste.
- Assisting with Food Preparation: Assist the kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed.
- Restocking Supplies: Monitor and restock essential kitchen supplies to ensure a smoothly running kitchen.
- Cleaning Public Areas: Maintain the cleanliness of dining areas, bussing tables, and keeping the floor clean.
- Adherence to Food Safety Standards: Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to ensure a seamless operation.
What Qualifications do I need?
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced food service environment.
- A strong work ethic and dedication to maintaining a high level of cleanliness and efficiency.
What are the Working Conditions?
- This position will involve standing for extended periods and may require some heavy lifting.
- Flexible work hours, including weekends and holidays, based on our store's operating hours.
