What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emcee/Hostess position at Cyberbacker?
We are looking for a mistress of ceremonies!
Copper Nickel is dedicated to creating each event a life-long memory for our clients. We are looking for an amazing event hostess to help us make weddings, fundraisers, social events and all other celebrations of life a perfect moment for our clients.
Duties:
- Welcoming guests, answering questions and working with support staff and vendors.
- Manage guests and clients at events. Including, but not limited to moving chairs and tables, working the Audio/Visual system, bussing tables throughout the event, restocking paper products and emptying trash.
- Opening up and closing the building before and after events.
- Company meetings with the Event Director and staff.
- Capturing pictures and short videos during the event to share with our Social Media team.
- Ability to operate a screen & projector, turn on computer, mini sound board, mini monitor and projector, mic and with possibility of troubleshooting.
- Helping clients unload or carry in items, if necessary.
- Must have great communication, problem solving, organizational and people skills.
- Must follow dress code and have exemplary behavior in front of clients and guests.

Pay:
Pay is based on the event that is worked. We have events which are 5, 7 and 11 hour events and pay is between $20-23 an hour. There are events almost every weekend, but we also have events on Sundays, weekdays, mornings and evenings.
