Key Responsibilities
- Develop energy efficient designs for a variety of building types and sizes.
- Interpret energy code and other requirements related to energy efficient design.
- Perform energy modeling simulations and conduct analyses of results to achieve energy efficiency goals.
- Provide technical support, guidance and advice to customers regarding energy efficient design.
- Develop and deliver customer presentations, reports and other documents related to energy efficiency design.
- Conduct field inspections of existing buildings to identify energy efficiency opportunities.
- Provide support for efficient energy designs to internal and external teams.
- Maintain and update knowledge of energy efficient design methods and technologies.
- Develop and implement energy efficient maintenance plans.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license from a US State or Canadian Province.
- Extensive knowledge of energy codes related to commercial buildings.
- Experience with 179D and 45L energy efficient design.
- Experience with energy modeling and simulation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
