Key Responsibilities
- Conduct energy audits and analysis of commercial and government buildings to identify energy-saving opportunities
- Utilize energy modeling software to simulate energy usage and evaluate potential savings
- Review building designs and specifications to ensure compliance with building codes and energy efficiency standards
- Prepare technical reports and documentation to support 179D and 45L tax deduction claims
- Work closely with clients to understand their energy needs and provide recommendations for energy-efficient solutions
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations related to energy efficiency and tax deductions
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Strong understanding of 179D and 45L tax deductions
- Experience with energy modeling software
- Knowledge of building codes and energy efficiency standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
