Accounting Manager

Located in Irvine, CA we are a leading electronics manufacturing company seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team. (Role is onsite in Irvine with a salary range of $114k - $140k).

Position Overview

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements, and will work closely with other departments to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial statements.
• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and adjusting entries.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results.
• Manage the company's tax compliance and reporting.
• Implement and maintain ERP system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Provide leadership and coaching to accounting staff, ensuring development and growth opportunities.
• Monitor and analyze department performance to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA certification preferred Big 4 experience
• 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with ERP implementation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance regulations.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting and COGS.
• Experience in manufacturing industry preferred.
• Ability to lead and develop accounting staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
