We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team! The Audit Manager will be responsible for managing the audit process, ensuring quality and accuracy of the audit work, and ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The successful candidate must have an active CPA license, as well as a solid understanding of audit, assurance and financial statements. Knowledge of Prosystem is considered a plus.
Position Overview: The Audit Manager will be responsible for leading assigned audits from start to finish. This role will involve developing audit plans, managing audit engagements, and ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within budget. The Audit Manager will also provide guidance and direction to audit team members, review workpapers, and be available to offer technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop audit plans and scope of work for assigned engagements.
- Oversee the technical execution of audit assignments.
- Prepare and review workpapers to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Provide technical guidance to audit staff.
- Prepare and review reports, financial statements, and other related documents.
- Collaborate with clients to develop solutions and resolve issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Active CPA license.
- At least 5 years of audit experience.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Prosystem (nice to have).
