Controller

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to be responsible for all financial matters of our company. The Controller will be in charge of preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The successful candidate will have a deep knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles, as well as excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills.

Position Overview: The Controller will coordinate all financial activities and ensure that the accounting records are accurate and up-to-date. The Controller will also help develop and implement financial policies and procedures, and monitor and evaluate financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings, including journal entries and audits.
• Generate accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with GAAP and regulatory compliance.
• Develop budgets
• Collaborate with the CEO and Operations leaders on strategic projects.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 5 years of accounting experience.
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP, financial statements, and budgeting.
• Familiarity with financial analytics, cash receipts, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, and month-end close.
• Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
