• Extensive GAAP knowledge
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field

What You Will Be Doing

The Controller will oversee all financial and accounting activities for our company. This role requires a strong understanding of GAAP and experience in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will also possess full cycle accounting experience and preferably hold a CPA designation. Knowledge of ERP systems is also considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with GAAP
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including variance analysis and trend analysis
• Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process
• Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve business processes and increase efficiency
• Prepare and file all necessary tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws
• Provide financial analysis to support business decisions
