Position Overview : We are a strong company in a niche industry looking for a Data Specialist who would like to learn our business and become a subject matter expert on data intensive technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Analyze and compare datasets and quickly identify discrepancies
  • Correct data discrepancies and / or own the mitigation of it
  • Become a subject matter expert on our technologies and own the data
  • Stay on top of industry trends
  • Continually hone industry specific technology skills

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
  • 3 years of experience working with datasets, reading, updating
  • Experience in data analysis from a technical standpoint
  • Loves to read and handle data
  • Enjoys researching data issues and problem solving
  • Strong sense of urgency as this is part of our production system

We offer a base salary of $75,000 to $90,000 depending on experience.

This role is 5 days a week on site in our Hartford, CT office. We are looking for local candidates only please.
