What You Will Be Doing
We are seeking a DevOps Leader/Manager to own DevOps and lead a small group of offshore engineers:
- Have complete ownership of DevOps as the first domestic FTE hire for DevOps
- Lead a team of 3 DevOps Engineers offsore
- Work with Offshore resources to ensure our systems run smoothly
- Provision AWS resources to all teams in the company
- SME for AWS services and capabilities
- Oversee, install, automate and configure environments for the QA and dev teams in AWS
- Run databases as required in AWS
- Establish cost effective AWS plans for our cloud infrastructure
- Build and manage CICD pipelines
What You Need for this Position
5 years in DevOps will stellar AWS skills and:
- Databases
- CICD
- Scripting Languages such as Python/Perl etc...
- Automation
- Leadership
- Production instances
- LAN/WAN network and patch management
