As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and monitoring of various construction projects, including highways, roadways, marine, and bridge construction. The primary objective is to ensure that projects are completed successfully, within budget, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Manage project teams, including staff and contractors, to ensure all project milestones are achieved.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful project completion.
- Communicate project status and issues to stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and contractors.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure all project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as environmental regulations.
- Manage project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in highway, roadway, marine, or bridge construction.
- Experience managing budgets, timelines, and project teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize tasks based on their importance and deadline.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations, as well as environmental regulations.
- Knowledge of groundwater management and mitigation strategies is an asset.
