This person will be in charge of serving as a subject matter expert to support the planning, design, and implementation of projects in the Finance business domain. In accordance with the overarching VWGoA enterprise standards and technology roadmap, the role will function as a senior technical expert to support the management and transformation of the whole SAP landscape in the Finance area. In order to discover potential for process innovation and business requirement resolution, this job will cooperate with the Finance business domain in accordance with the SSP PIM. When dealing with both internal and external development and consulting teams, the job will represent VWGoA as a technical liaison to assist overall IT reform projects. What You Will Be Doing
SAP Technology and Innovation 30%
SAP Implementation 60%
SAP Support 10%
- Provide technical and business domain knowledge input in the support of product roadmap and strategy definitions with NAR and Germany.
- Act as the SME to the business to translate business need into to technology solutions within the Finance technical landscape.
- Provide the business technical and operational guidance to support the scoping and planning of initiatives in the Finance domain
SAP Implementation 60%
- Support in the technical design of solutions impacting the SAP Finance landscape
- Support the development team to develop, configure and implement the solution as per the product development standards to meet business requirements
- Support NAR regional activities acting as a technical SME (US, MX, Canada)
- Support development team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies
- Monitor the work of the technical team to ensure a successful handoff between development and AMS
- Lead small to medium size technical change projects in support of the overall SAP roadmap
SAP Support 10%
- Act as a SME as needed to the SAP operations and AMS teams in order to quickly resolve operational issues that impact business functions.

- 10 years of overall experience supporting (solution, develop, support) the implementation of IT initiatives leveraging SAP technologies with an emphasis in the Finance domain
- 5 years leading strategic SAP implementation initiatives
- 5 years consulting businesses on the creation of strategic roadmaps leveraging existing and emerging SAP technologies
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science Education
Skills:
- Strong communication skills including the ability to translate business need to technical teams, as well as translate technical solutions to business teams
- Ability to communicate up to senior leadership as well as across to internal and external cross functional teams both verbally and in writing
- Ability to lead small to medium cross-functional teams to successfully implement solutions utilizing SAP technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for improvement and corresponding solutions
- Ability to participate in and support a diverse team environment by openly sharing information, exchanging ideas, coordinating activities, coaching and mentoring, and/or jointly solving problems
Specialized Skills: Required:
- Broad knowledge of SAP technologies both existing and emerging
- In depth knowledge of SAP 4/HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, legacy BI/BO
- Knowledge of SAP Cloud Service Models
- Understanding of the Finance business process domain in order to identify business needs and translate them into an technology solutions
- Understanding of emerging SAP technologies and how those technologies can be leveraged to fill a capability gap within the Finance business domain
Plus but Not Required:
- General knowledge of Automotive Industry processes
- In depth knowledge of Finance processes (treasury and tax)
- SAP related certifications
- Foreign language skills (German, Spanish)
- Project Management skills (PMP, AGILE)
