Position Overview: We are a growing US manufacturing company in the stainless steel industry. We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who will be responsible for analyzing, developing, and designing custom products. The Manufacturing Engineer will ensure that our products and processes are optimized for maximum production efficiency, quality, and economy.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and detail drawings using Master Cam
- Create work orders showing step by step manufacturing instructions
- Interface with customers with customers to interpret their needs into a custom product
- Design, develop, and improve production processes.
- Analyze existing processes and recommend modifications for cost reduction, improved quality or faster production.
- Develop and implement new manufacturing processes.
- Assist in procurement of new equipment and tooling for production.
- Develop and maintain operating procedures and standards.
- Develop and maintain documents associated with new processes.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend process changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, Associates or Trade School Training.
- 3 years' experience in manufacturing engineering.
- CNC, Master CAD, and Stainless Steel experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Ability to develop and implement process improvement plans.
- Good problem solving and decision making skills.
- Detail oriented and organized.
