- Supports the GC Project Team for coordination with sub-contractors including AE consultants.
- Review of MEP Submittals
- Performs necessary site visits to ensure adherence to design guidelines and specifications of design projects.
- Coordinates with AE consultants all necessary design standards documentation to adhere to design guidelines and specifications on contract documents.
- Proactively seeks to understand the needs of our customers.
- Work with estimating/quoting on Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing designs for construction documents
- Mechanical HVAC engineering and design of large commercial/municipal HVAC systems
- Generalist approach to the field with a willingness to research and execute projects with a very "hands-on" approach.
- Review piping materials, diameters, and thicknesses to meet design requirements. Size and specify relief devices, control valves, and regulators.
- Assist in the development of scope of work/for-bid packages for construction and commissioning activities.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external team members (including safety, environmental, operations, construction, commercial, land/ROW, third party contractors, etc.)
- Skills to generate RFI's and quality control reviews on construction contract documents as-built drawings; and participate in pre-startup safety reviews; develop post start up reviews to support commercial goals and continuous improvement.
- Review detailed Plumbing Design drawings for construction documentation of design plans for bidding and construction
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with mechanical or electrical focus preferred.
- Extensive construction renovation and new build work experience.
- Organization skills to manage multiple development projects.
- Engineering Design Project Management experience.
- Construction Project Management experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, along with BlueBeam, MS Project
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels within the company as well as organizations outside the company.
- Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-directed, with good initiative and a great multi-tasker and ability to drive deadlines.
