Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our team and help optimize our manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all processes are efficient, effective, and meet established quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement process improvements to ensure optimal production efficiency
- Design and implement manufacturing processes and procedures
- Identify and troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions
- Provide technical expertise and support in SMT processes, labor routing, tooling requirements, and special process assessment
- Create and maintain standards for material and labor
- Read and interpret engineering/customer drawings, specifications, BOM structure, schematics, finished prints, and component part numbers
- Develop and maintain process and time standards
- Collaborate with suppliers and quality teams to ensure compliance with standards and specifications
- Lead and/or participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge and experience in SMT and PCB processes
- Experience with material estimation support, labor estimation, and labor routing
- Strong knowledge of tooling requirements, creating and maintaining standards for material and labor, and packaging methods
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering/customer drawings, specifications, BOM structure, schematics, finished prints, and component part numbers
- Proficient in developing and maintaining process and time standards
- Experience with suppliers, quality teams, routers, manufacturing work instructions, ECNs, design guidelines, and cost
- Track record of implementing successful process and quality improvements
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and ERP systems
- Experience with design tools and manufacturing engineering
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Experience with test equipment/processes and project leadership/ownership

Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
