Position Overview
Our client is in need of a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to join the team either in Columbia or Baltimore.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct land surveys using advanced equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and drones.
- Analyze survey data and create accurate maps, charts, and documents using software such as AutoCAD and 3D modeling tools.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on land surveying and civil engineering projects.
- Manage and oversee surveying projects from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as engineers and architects, to provide accurate and comprehensive surveying services.
- Maintain and calibrate survey equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Stay current with industry advancements and trends in surveying techniques and technology.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a PLS
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in surveying software, such as AutoCAD and 3D modeling tools.
