Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in construction and MEP projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project execution from inception to completion, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and team members to define project scope and objectives.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, while tracking project progress and making adjustments as necessary.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and daily logs.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, addressing any issues or risks promptly.
- Coordinate with various trades, including electricians, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and commercial construction practices.
- Proficiency in project management software, with experience in Sage 100 being a plus.
- PMP certification is preferred, along with proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and P&L management.
