Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and implement Service Department policies and procedures as specified by the Director of Commercial Service.
- Regularly review financial reports with the Director of Commercial Service to ensure all goals and objectives are clear, understood, and that a continuous, effective plan is in place to control costs and increase profitability.
- Provide direction and leadership to achieve professional technical services that meet profitability and quality standards.
- Supervise the quality of work performed, ensuring standards of performance are maintained.
- Maintain awareness of the status of current jobs and keep management informed of progress.
- Conduct regular service meetings and training sessions to communicate company objectives and policies, develop technical skills, and encourage co-worker participation and personal growth.
- Assist the Director of Commercial Service in determining project methodologies and job flows to maximize effectiveness, efficiency, and repair quality.
- Maintain all project efficiency and management reports and reporting methods.
- Ensure necessary tools and equipment are available and well-maintained.
- Assist the safety team in ensuring compliance with all OSHA safety guidelines.
- Monitor the progress of the department and individuals on the project team concerning quality and profit goals.
- Handle customer complaints in a friendly and pleasing manner, reporting any issues to the Director of Commercial Service as necessary.
- Conduct pre-bid walkthroughs and develop budgets and sales proposals.
- 3 years of experience in Commercial Project Management
- 3 years of experience working in HVAC
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects
- PMP Certification preferred
