Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team and provide financial expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring financial reporting and compliance with all applicable regulations. This will include providing assistance to internal and external auditors, as well as performing financial planning, budgeting, and review.

Position Overview: The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements. This position is responsible for all aspects of the general ledger, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, expense reimbursements, and general ledger reconciliations. This role will also be expected to review financial transactions, and will assist with financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and records in accordance with company standards

Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable

Monitor and reconcile bank statements

Prepare and review journal entries

Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements

Monitor and review payroll

Prepare and review ad hoc financial reports

Prepare and review budgeting and forecasting documents

Assist with internal and external audits

Assist with special projects as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

CPA certification preferred

5 years of experience working as an accountant in a professional services environment

Proficiency with CCH accounting software

Advanced Excel Skills And Experience With General Ledger

Understanding of audit and assurance requirements

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
