Mechanical Engineer III will be responsible for leading and implementing mechanical engineering projects, focusing on construction and design for industrial and heavy industrial facilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion
- Design and draft mechanical systems using Revit and AutoCAD
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project specifications are met
- Perform quality control checks and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Create project timelines and monitor progress to ensure timely completion
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and team members
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and vendors
- Conduct site visits and provide technical support during construction and installation
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in industrial and heavy industrial settings
- Revit & AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of construction and building codes
- Belt Analyst & PipeFlo are a plus
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is preferred
