Job Title : Site Safety Health Officer
Location : Homestead, FL
Introduction : We are one of Miami's leading general contractors, working on a variety of projects in the government sector, public spaces, as well commercial construction projects.
We are looking for an experienced Safety Manager to join our team.
Position Overview : The Site Safety Health Officer (SSHO) is responsible for ensuring quality safety management, safety engineering, and construction safety standards are maintained at the job site.
They will be responsible for an action prevention plan and ensure the safety of the construction team, including conducting safety trainings on personal protective equipment, use and maintenance, hazard communication, excavation, scaffolding, fall protection, etc.
Requirements :
- 10 years of construction safety experience; or 5 years of experience with Bachelors degree in safety or related field
- High School diploma
- USACE Quality Control Management Certificate
- OSHA 30 certification
- Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
Bonus Skills :
Army Corp Engineers experience preferred
