Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee construction projects in various sectors including heavy civil, marine construction, industrial, federal, state, schools, hospitals and other government facilities in Tampa. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee construction projects from start to finish
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors and other personnel
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
- Communicate with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, and engineers
- Resolve conflicts and issues that arise during the construction process
- Experience managing all aspects of construction projects including architectural, civil, structural, mechanical and electrical divisions
- Bachelor's degree in Construction or Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing construction projects, preferably in the fields of Heavy Civil, or Vertical construction
- In-depth knowledge of construction safety regulations and quality standards
- Experience working on government projects, including federal work
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred
