Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design tooling and molds using CAD software such as SolidWorks and UG
- Create blueprints and specifications for molds and tools including GD&T and plastic ejection molding
- Analyze molds and tools for proper performance and construction, and identify areas for cost savings
- Perform DFM analysis and cost estimates for tooling projects
- Assist with tooling automation and EOATs
- Troubleshoot mold performance issues and modify tooling and molds accordingly
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3 years of experience in Tooling Engineering
- Knowledge of mold design, mold construction, GD&T, and plastic ejection molding
- Proficient with CAD software such as SolidWorks and UG
