- Candidates that complete the application questionnaire will be prioritized in the review process
- Conduct traffic engineering studies including collecting and analyzing data to determine the effects of proposed developments and plans.
- Develop designs and plans to improve traffic operations including creating roadway and intersection designs.
- Perform traffic engineering analysis using a variety of simulation capacity analysis software.
- Compute quantities for traffic engineering design tasks and demonstrate awareness of relationships to bid items.
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license a plus.
- 2 years of traffic engineering experience.
- Working knowledge of roadway and highway design principles.
