Compensation:150k-200k/yr plus equity/benefits

We are a rapidly growing CPG Direct food manufacturing company dedicated to delivering innovative, high-quality products to our customers. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a seasoned and visionary Vice President of Operations to lead our operational efforts and drive the company towards continued success.

Job Summary

The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, sanitation, and maintenance operations. This role will play a critical part in shaping the strategic direction of the company, ensuring that our processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with our growth objectives. The VP of Operations will lead cross-functional teams, driving continuous improvement and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, including production, warehousing, logistics, sanitation, and maintenance, ensuring they are executed efficiently and effectively.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational improvements and work to implement innovative solutions that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Sanitation and Maintenance Oversight: Ensure that all facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, while managing the maintenance of equipment and infrastructure to ensure reliable and continuous production.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop operations teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with procurement, production, and distribution teams to optimize the supply chain, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
• Quality Control: Monitor and enforce quality control measures to meet regulatory standards and maintain the company's reputation for product excellence.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and internal policies.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including R&D, Sales, and Marketing, to align operational activities with broader business objectives.
• Strategic Support: Assist the Vice President of Operations in the development and execution of strategic plans that support the company's growth objectives.
  
  

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in operations management, with a significant portion in the CPG industry, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Proven experience in managing daily operations, including production, logistics, sanitation, and maintenance.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on operational efficiency and quality improvement.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, quality assurance, and industry regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
