Job Title: IT Operations Associate
The IT Operations Associate is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company's IT systems. This includes providing technical support to end users, maintaining system security, and ensuring all systems are running smoothly. The IT Operations Associate will also be responsible for troubleshooting any technical problems that arise, as well as assisting with the implementation of new technology initiatives. The role also entails coaching junior staff and equipping them with the skills required for growth. Building and maintaining a team is a key factor for success in this position.
This job is suitable for an experienced individual who can think on their feet and respond to both structured & unpredictable tasks at various competency levels. Candidate should be energetic, self-motivated, and passionate about solving information technology issues with a focus to delight our internal and external customers. As is needed in any new venture, patience, and the ability to make incremental and deliberate change efforts to improve organizational posture is a must.
General Job Responsibilities.
Act as first line of support for all Service Requests at assigned business sites.
· Managing Windows, Linux, or Mac systems
· Upgrading, installing, and configuring application software and computer hardware
· Troubleshooting and providing technical support to employees
· Creating and managing system permissions and user accounts
· Performing regular security tests and security monitoring
· Maintaining networks and network file systems
· Triage all incoming issues and open tickets accordingly in our ticket system.
· Monitor the Remote Monitoring and Management system alerts and notifications and respond accordingly by opening service tickets.
· Provide basic Network Administration.
· Provide support for issues involving malware and virus infections on workstations.
· Perform weekly inventory reconciliation
· Imaging of PCs, laptops, and other computer equipment.
· New hire setups, image/deploy computers, terminations, lease returns, office moves
· Deployment, support, and troubleshooting of all PC-related equipment. This includes, but is not limited to desktop PCs, laptops, PC peripherals, scanners, and printers.
· Contributes regularly to the Service Desk knowledge base using designated tools.
· Participate in the testing of new applications, technology, security patches, and hotfixes.
· Keeps skills updated on supported technologies and corporate business applications.
· Escalate tickets as necessary following the proper escalation procedures.
· Follow company Service Department Standards and Best Practices on a daily basis.
· Communicate with users/vendors/customers to provide updates on open tickets as needed. (Ticket progress, impending changes, maintenance windows, etc…)
· Ensure users/vendors/customers expectation is properly set and that all details are properly entered in the corresponding ticket.
· Meet ticket SLA’s.
· Network cabling
Qualifications
· 2 years of Information Technology experience
· Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written to a wide range of end-users.
· Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services.
· Ability to multi-task and adapt to change quickly.
· Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
· Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
· Ability to solve problems in stressful situations
· Strong attention to detail
Preferred
Industry certifications like MCSE or CCNA or CompTIA Server or A or Computer Science
2 to 3 years of on the job experience providing technical support in an Information Technology capacity.
Above average verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Provide after hours on-call support as needed

IT: 2 years (Preferred)
Work Location: Primary office will be at 1410 South Clark Blvd. Clarksville IN. Travel to Louisville locations on occasion expected.
