Responsibilities:
- Analyze and monitor product costs, including material, labor, and overhead expenses.
- Prepare and maintain standard cost data for inventory valuation and cost analysis.
- Assist in the development and implementation of cost control systems and procedures.
- Perform cost variance analysis and identify areas for improvement.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate product costing.
- Prepare cost reports and present findings to management.
- Assist in inventory management and periodic physical inventory counts.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive cost reduction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in cost accounting or manufacturing accounting.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.
